My main research involves media rhetoric and the narratives it creates and perpetuates about marginalized women victims of serial killers. I wrote my dissertation on this, and I’m currently adapting it to a book and podcast.

I am also interested in rhetoric and the law and would love to revise and publish a paper I wrote for a class about the racist rhetoric of the Local Bankruptcy Rules for the Eastern District of Michigan.

I also have an interest in feminist and queer rhetoric and narratives in popular culture.
